ABOUT US

Anglo Welding and Engineering are manufacturers of custom-built trailers which are manufactured according to client specifications. The company was registered in 1960 by the late Casper du Plessis and his wife, Charmaine du Plessis, as a general engineering business. In the early years, a need was identified to design and develop boat trailers which resulted in the company becoming one of the largest boat trailer manufacturers in South Africa in the ’60s and ’70s. During the early 1980s, the company progressed to a specialised trailer manufacturing company, mainly focusing on industrial customised trailers and undercarriages for a vast number of industries. The company has been in existence for over 60 years and continues to grow under the watchful eye of Casper’s son, Deon du Plessis. Over the years Anglo Welding and Engineering has built up an impeccable reputation for innovative designs, quality workmanship and efficient service, long-term product reliability and competitive pricing. All the trailers are designed and manufactured under SABS and Road Ordinance requirements. The range also includes a low-speed non-roadworthy application suitable for the mining and agricultural industry.

If quality and knowledge is what you are after, you have come to the right place.
